Dear Mr. Obama,
I'm sure you have an idea, or in the very least an understanding of how we Americans really live. For example, the $100,000 LED scoreboard recently added to the local high school instead of computers for the kids was and is a waste - or better said, a misguided use of your "change".
The lines for the shelters are full of small children and frustrated parents. Food banks, clothes closets, etc. are all being over-utilized, making these agencies split at the seams. There is an undeniable need for you, Mr. Obama, to help. Public housing is a necessity. Not everyone out here is fortunate enough to be handed anything, so we take what we can get.
Please review your plans for funding where it counts. I hope to be heard - for a change.
