Our letter to the President

Dear President Obama,

Please take action to end America’s affordable housing and homelessness crisis. We need:
  • More section 8 vouchers immediately
  • Build public housing to meet the need
  • Full funding of the National Housing Trust Fund
  • Stop foreclosures

I myself have been chronically homeless for several years, due to rental of a foreclosure and to the cost of living. I've been barely making it, struggling, living in programs and shelters, and I would love to see the cost of living go down, so I can afford to live my life, free and stress-free.
