ReplyDeleteDear President Obama,
ReplyDeleteI know you are a very busy man but the county of Santa Clara in Calif. is in need of more Section 8 Vouchers and low income housing. It is not fair for any person to have to live on the streets It cost more to live here than you make. We have no jobs available which makes it harder. I was on the streets for a short time last year and thanks to a good friend of mine I made it, other wise I would never known what to do. Thank You for all you help in this matter.
That's my boy, Curtis Muses...straight to the point. He would give the shirt off his back to to help someone...He grew up hard, but I tried my best to give my son as well as my four daughters, decent honest values. I always felt guilt that I could not give them all the things they would of liked growing up, but I gave them empathy, understanding a love of the simple things like camping, trees flowers. I look back and wish I could of done more, but at the same time....they are who they are, and I am proud of them all! I love them with all that I am! I have a son who is an adventurer, can live off the land...a martial artist, and a philosipher. Brandy, the strong one, the mom when I was'nt, One great mom. My Sheena, the quiet one scared of aliens....she served her country protecting our great USA...in Afganistan, along with her husband Victor, an enginer...detecting land minds making way for others to travel safely. Danae...to much like her mother, she started off learning the hard way, and now is stepping up and providing for her son, I am so proud of her. Then there is my Lenny...sweat, quiet, sensatime...a real thinker, plays the keyboard. she is going to stand out in the world one day. So when I leave, I live on....It is people like us that really need to be seen and reconized, we are here, we feel, we just want to be somebody who lived and did, good, maybe not great, things for others...in hopes it would be passed on
