Our letter to the President

Dear President Obama,

Please take action to end America’s affordable housing and homelessness crisis. We need:
  • More section 8 vouchers immediately
  • Build public housing to meet the need
  • Full funding of the National Housing Trust Fund
  • Stop foreclosures

The situation in Santa Clara County is dire. High unemployment and an enormously high cost of living combine to hurt our most needy in the worst way.

Please help stop foreclosures, authorize more section 8 vouchers, fully fund the National Housing Trust Fund, and provide funds for public housing.
