Our letter to the President

Dear President Obama,

Please take action to end America’s affordable housing and homelessness crisis. We need:
  • More section 8 vouchers immediately
  • Build public housing to meet the need
  • Full funding of the National Housing Trust Fund
  • Stop foreclosures

I am a volunteer at Sacred Heart Community Service in San Jose, California. I see clients every day who have a desperate need for clean, safe housing. Please direct additional resources to HUD to provide more housing assistance to those in need. Thank you!
