Our letter to the President

Dear President Obama,

Please take action to end America’s affordable housing and homelessness crisis. We need:
  • More section 8 vouchers immediately
  • Build public housing to meet the need
  • Full funding of the National Housing Trust Fund
  • Stop foreclosures

My own sister is facing foreclosure. She is a school registrar who has a police officer, ex-military husband - yet their mortgage company WOULD NOT deal with them. They now face bankruptcy or foreclosure. Statistics say that homelessness will double!!! This is not acceptable.
