Our letter to the President

Dear President Obama,

Please take action to end America’s affordable housing and homelessness crisis. We need:
  • More section 8 vouchers immediately
  • Build public housing to meet the need
  • Full funding of the National Housing Trust Fund
  • Stop foreclosures

I experienced homelessness several times in my life. Right now I have my own home. I have been working with programs to end homelessness for 14 years. Housing is too expensive and we have too many wonderful people including children who have no roof over their heads. Please help them to find a home.

We all need to make this a top priority - please!
