Affordable housing is a key element of a healthy community.
I live on Cape Cod in Massachusetts, where small local housing is being bought up by wealthy retirees who build mega-houses. Where do the worried residents go? We must provide for them, because they run our shops, our schools, and our services, and they LOVE the Cape AND DO NOT WANT TO MOVE.

Homelessness is a personal thing for me. We have housed a homeless family unrelated to us for the past eighteen months.
It is essential that all efforts be made to increase section 8 vouchers and housing security for all in our community and in the nation.
