Our letter to the President

Dear President Obama,

Please take action to end America’s affordable housing and homelessness crisis. We need:
  • More section 8 vouchers immediately
  • Build public housing to meet the need
  • Full funding of the National Housing Trust Fund
  • Stop foreclosures

To one of the greatest, most handsome, most debonair, intelligent, loyal, outstanding, and heartfelt President, husband, father, and trusted man of the most powerful:

Help is needed in the area of homelessness, hunger, ignorance, drugs, alcohol, and genocide in our communities.

Please help more with housing needs and jobs, and help the homeless. Please help us with employment. People are in need of money. Thank you.

Housing is SO expensive here in Silicon Valley that multiple families share dwellings intended for few, many must work two to three jobs just to pay for rent, and others are homeless. Please expand the help we need to offer assistance to those who need an affordable place to live. Thank you.

Cecilia Marquez & Luis Reynoso, San Jose

We believe that because of the economy and the shortage of employment, there should be more funds for the housing program.
