Our letter to the President

Dear President Obama,

Please take action to end America’s affordable housing and homelessness crisis. We need:
  • More section 8 vouchers immediately
  • Build public housing to meet the need
  • Full funding of the National Housing Trust Fund
  • Stop foreclosures

I feel that you should take action to end America's affordable housing and homelessness crisis. I also feel you should help so more people can get off the streets and into a home.

Few challenges are more serious than affordable housing and homelessness. A dedicated, reliable funding source is one of the keys to meeting this challenge. Please commit to making this a reality.

We need to address our economic issues as a war against poverty, and spend as much on programs to better our society as we do on waging war. Also we should address all the tech jobs going overseas. As a technical person I am wondering what the future of tech jobs in America will be? Are we becoming a service-only nation?
