I am homeless, as are many other mentally and physically abled men and women. In a country so blessed by God, greed should not rule the land.
I believe more and more U.S. citizens who do work and pay their taxes will soon find themselves in similar positions.
Please use the power and authority given you by God to address these discrepancies in our system.

I once was homeless and pregnant, with three children and nowhere to live. I only hope and pray no other person will have to live like that. We had nowhere to shower or cook or eat. We stood in line, my children so hungry but too frightened to eat. I hope to God we could get more section 8 vouchers for the homeless in San Jose, the families and children who are lost on the streets. They are human and have the right to housing.

The Bay Area (Silicon Valley, and surrounding Counties) need to be recognized for the need of an adjustment of a higher loan value in regards to Freddie Mac Guidelines.
The vast majority of home values are too large and don’t qualify under the current limits. There is a need for an exception to this limit, implementation of some allowable adjustments or just raising the limit overall.
If something is not done immediately, with the help and persistence of the Obama Administration regarding this issue, homeowners will continue to default and foreclosures will mount. The area is the “HUB” of the world for all tech innovation and a leader in “Green Technology.” To allow further deterioration of this real estate market in this Bay area, would be a travesty that would resonate for many years to come. The “Domino” affect, would have a long lasting toll on the future of Tech and Green progress and such affect would reach to the rest of the world, causing disruption and unnecessary delay in progress and stability of many things that are in current dismay.
I urge the Obama Administration to act quickly, to try to find a resolve to accommodate the higher valued homes in these areas, and as well as other areas of the U.S. that have the same needs.
It is just as hard to be able to purchase a home in these areas here, as it is anywhere else in the U.S. (perhaps, even harder here) and the same help and consideration should be given to all homeowners on an even level by Freddie Mac (and Fannie May).
There should be no distinction or discrimination for any homeowner trying to save their home, especially based on values that are not in their control, but rather dictated by market area. STOP FORECLOSURES!

There is nothing more painful in life than to be forced to live in the streets without a place to rest.
As Christ himself said, "The son of man has no place to lay his head." Where are the homeless to turn if not for help from the nation's leaders? In Silicon Valley there has been an unmet housing shortage for forty years. Clearly local authorities would rather profit at the expense of those who are at a disadvantage, rather than meet their public responsibilities and resolve this inequality. Please help.

I have been on the housing section 8 waiting list for a long time. I hope I get my housing soon. I am disabled, and a single mother of a sixteen year-old daughter. I would like to get housing soon.
