Dear Mr. Obama,
My name is Mary Bockman and I'm tired of being last on everyone's list. I'm tired of being homeless. And I'm not a person who just wants your pity. No sir, I want much more than that. I want to be able to live a normal life, and be able to make it on my own. I am 40 years old and I have been homeless for 20 of those years off and on. It's very hard to even find work and has been for some time. I see so many people just as I am, homeless for as long as I have been. I am counting on every promise you have made to every human being in America. Please do your best to bring your words to life. We are all counting on you.

Mr. Obama,
Please see to it that our state receives more section 8 vouchers now - and take immediate action to provide more housing for the poor and those in need. Please take an honest look at where bailout money is going and fully fund the National Trust Fund. And stop foreclosures. With this economy I request you consider the poor first!

Please help. Our country is in great need. My young adult children have been living with different friends. Jobs are also scarce. Please help - if housing is not available or steady, then it makes it almost impossible to keep a steady job. Our country is in great need!

We need to be able to live and it is very hard for the money I make to support me and my child. I am a single grandmother raising my granddaughter. The money that I make all goes to rent, with very little left to be used for food and bills. Please help those of us that are struggling to live. Thank you.
