Our letter to the President

Dear President Obama,

Please take action to end America’s affordable housing and homelessness crisis. We need:
  • More section 8 vouchers immediately
  • Build public housing to meet the need
  • Full funding of the National Housing Trust Fund
  • Stop foreclosures

I work at a homeless shelter with Santa Clara University. And what I have seen is an extreme amount of violence in the history of many homeless people: both from domestic violence and from war. Please ensure peace in our world and work to end homelessness.
